Basic Assumptions

is set to <1> and the <R> switch is set down (Multi function
lock released) (p.35, 48).
It is assumed that all the menu settings and Custom Functions are
set to their defaults.

EF-S18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens as an example.
