Adjusting subwoofer settings
The cut-off frequency and output level can be
adjusted when the subwoofer output is on.
1 Use M.C. to select SW 2.
Refer to Introduction of audio adjustments on
page 20.

lect SW 2.
2 Turn M.C. to select cut-off frequency.

Adjusting low pass filter attenuation

just the continuity of sound between speaker
units.

Note
When slope of subwoofer and high pass filter are
-12dB, and same cut-off frequency, the phase is
reversed 180 degrees at the cut-off frequency. In
this case, reversing the phase assures improved
sound continuity.
Using the high pass filter
When you do not want low sounds from the
subwoofer output frequency range to play
from the front or rear speakers, turn on the
HPF (high pass filter). Only frequencies higher
than those in the selected range are output
from the front or rear speakers.
! This function is only available in standard
mode

Muting the speaker units (filters)
You can mute front and rear speaker units (fil-
ters) separately. When speaker units (filters)
are muted, no sound is outputted from those
speakers.
! Even if the speaker unit (filter) is muted,
you can adjust the muted speaker units (fil-
ters). However, mute is automatically can-
celed when the level is adjusted.
1 Use M.C. to select F.HPF 1 (or R.HPF 1).

2 Press M.C. to mute the selected speaker
unit (filter).
MUTE is displayed.
# To cancel the muting, press M.C. again.
Setting the high pass filter for front
speakers
