your stitches. You may need to adjust it when you
change fabric or thread.

on scrap of a fabric before you start to sew.

■ Correct Tension / Tensión adecuada
Correct tension is important as too much or too
little tension will weaken your seams or cause
puckers on your fabric.

tension control dial to a lower number.

Increase the tension by turning the upper
tension control dial to a higher number.

Nota
● If the upper thread is not threaded correctly
or the bobbin is not installed correctly, it
may not be possible to set the correct thread
tension. If the correct thread tension cannot
be achieved, rethread the upper thread and
insert the bobbin correctly.
● Si el hilo superior no está enhebrado
correctamente o la bobina no está colocada
correctamente, quizá no sea posible ajustar
la tensión adecuada del hilo. Si no puede
ajustar la tensión adecuada, vuelva a
enhebrar el hilo superior e inserte la bobina
correctamente.
