Dusts entering the camera can adhere to the image sensor and cause
dust spots to be visible on the captured images. To erase these dust
spots, you can append the Dust Delete Data to the images. The Dust
Delete Data is used by Digital Photo Professional (EOS software,
p.318) to erase the dust spots automatically.
Prepare a solid white object such as a sheet of paper.
Set the lens focal length to 50 mm or longer.
Set the lens’s focus mode switch to <MF> and set the focus to
infinity (u). If the lens has no distance scale, look at the front of the
lens and turn the focusing ring clockwise all the way.

Under the [z3] tab, select [Dust
Delete Data], then press <0>.
