Satin stitching
A decorative stitch can be sewn by changing the
stitch width of a satin stitch. If the sewing machine is
set so that the stitch width can be adjusted using the
sewing speed controller, the stitch width can quickly
and easily be adjusted. In this case, the sewing speed
is adjusted with the foot controller.

Connect the foot controller.

Attach zigzag foot “J”.

Turn on the sewing machine, and then press
(settings key) in the operation panel.
X The settings screen appears.

While sewing, slide the sewing speed
controller to adjust the stitch width.
Slide the controller to the left to make the
width narrower. Slide the controller to the right
to make the width wider.
Adjust the sewing speed with the foot
controller.

When you are finished sewing, set the stitch
width control setting back to OFF.
Memo
Although the stitching result differs
depending on the type of fabric being sewn
and the thickness of the thread being used,
for best results, adjust the stitch length to
between 0.3 and 0.5 mm (1/64 and
1/32 inch).
